Rooted in community, cooperation, and collaboration, exchange remains handmade and essential. Friends, companions, and kindred spirits were given stems and trust - here you go, 11 handcrafted remixes by illustrious artists: the dadaversum keeps expanding.
Andi Otto, a long-time inspiration for blending acoustic and electronic, brings a detuned Black Forest organ to arriv, creating a warm, slightly skewed resonance that bridges tradition and experiment. Korean artist soo:k creates emotional mirror images, fingerprints of past and present; dreaming worlds from small sounds, her remix captures memory, reflection, and quiet utopias for everything that breathes in silence. chöko aba loads his contribution with witty stimulating sounds and a pint of dub, turning bern into something real. After a mutual selfie fan moment, stems were swapped: Elen in Wavs joins arriv, crafting a dialogue of voice, drive and texture — a sonic handshake. Hanna Leess skips across country twang, synth-noise, trip-hop, and lo-fi jazz to traverse bern with grace - celebrated for strength and fragility, conformity and rebellion in sound. ali dada remixes MAUGLI and vice versa, a mutual exchange that celebrates soulful, organic bass grooves, global resonance ohnedi, a live dialogue of giving and taking across distances. São Carlos-born, Berlin-based KALOZIN starts mid-compilation with tribal, dirt-laden decolonial manipulation, re-contextualizing and deconstructing rhythms into something both primal and uncanny. Daensen, label operator and in-house graphic designer of the dadas, channels Silvia federici into sound — "From the viewpoint of the working class, being productive simply means being exploited". Aquarium 93, a new project from the close-knit IRUBO collective, breaks the beats of start, while from the youneed cosmos, Kundan Lal twists bern through his sampler, merging old stems with new experiments.
SUM, released in 2024, marked a milestone for ali dada, and with SUM RMX, the process continues.
