In the mystic realm of 1960s Chicago, Terry Callier, a troubadour of folk jazz and soul, graced the shadowed stages of underground clubs and coffeehouses.

In 1972, he released his "Candyman“, a truly powerful seven minute bass-driven soul groove.

After retiring as a musician in the 1980s, Callier's music was discovered by some of London's trip-hop legends in the early 1990s. They invited him for recording sessions, which led to a late taste of commercial success.

In 2024, MAUGLI is taking over, sending "Candyman" on yet another journey with modern sampling techniques.
